Just got back from Iceland so no activity on my Flickr, sorry!

Anyway here's my first photo from the trip.
It's in Berserkjahraun (Berserk Lava) in the West part of Iceland, Snæfellsnes. The weather was crazy and a storm was in Reykjavík and the south side of Snæfellsnes, It was my first day to do some landscape shots and I decided I would give it a try...the wind was crazy so I used the car to shield me a bit but the rain came from everywhere sides, up and down...I was lucky have the car between me and the rain in this shot. -you could say the weather was going berserk..really.

here is some info on Berserkjarhraun: www.nat.is/travelguideeng/plofin_berserk_lava.htm

Thanks for taking your time to look!
all faves and comments really appreciated!

Save The World

Returning from vacation in the summer of 2011 back in my country I found myself in front of this terrible show.

A whole mountain was on fire and the only thing you could see in total darkness, it was the fire front.

The worst thing is that most of these fires are deliberately started, hung by people who do not make scruples about destroying a fantastic natural landscape, despite being in a national park.
