Today I received a funny letter from the moderator of one of the group on the Flickr. I do not reveal the name of the group, but a small excerpt from the letter: " I must inform you that your photo, ...is a bit risque for groupe. We try to keep our photo pool "family friendly". A photo of a Hooters bikini contest photo is just a bit racy. " Well - the show itself was authorized by the municipality of the city of Jacksonville and held in open court - the Landing. For those who have never been in Jacksonville, I want to clarify that this area - Landing - one of the most visited places in the city. This is a public place. Moreover, in the evening around the scene it was at least several dozen families with children. And I must say that the children enjoyed this show, no less than adults! I can not understand what in these photos are unfriendly to families? These girls deserve to be a models for such artists as Mikelyanzhelo and Leonardo Da Vinci. What wrong with these girls - what they are beautiful or that they work in Hooters? alot of beautiful girls are on the portraits of artists of the Renaissance, and no one forbids children to attend the great museums of the world.. I am almost sure that most models for artists of the past epoch were dancers in those days. I do not think that belonging to a Hooters or Playboy makes on these awesome women stamp outcasts of society. They are the same people as all those whom we take pictures every day. They are not worse!

That was my big mistake. I absolutely knew nothing about this bikini contest. I walked from the Symphony through Landing. There is something afoot. I asked the barman what is happen? He said - the hooters bikini contest. Oh, no! I had only two lenses - Nikkor 85mm f1.8 and Hasselblad Carl Zeiss 250mm f5.6 with me... Hasselblad 5.6 can be used only during the day and only on tripod. Its too dark for night shooting! The Nikkor 85mm was too short - I could not get clouse to the stage! I hate myself for not taking my Nikkor 180mm f2.8 lens! Where is the nearest bridge? I want to jump! ( I will never rise again ISO above 200 ...) rrrrr Noisy, noisy photo!

and I used Paint with light techniques to get the best lighting only on the edge of the computer and on the e-go ;)
